Cattle rustlers strike in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Okla. -- Operation Cow Thief is offering a cash reward for information that will lead to stolen cattle from a Jefferson County ranch.

Seventy-eight yearling steers were removed from from cattle pens on FM 89 south of Ringling. It's believed the cattle went missing between 5 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday.

The steers weigh around 600 pounds each and carry a "7" brand on their left hip.

Anyone with information can call the Operation Cow Thief hotline at 888-839-2333. A reward of up to $2,000 is offered.
