Tishomingo woman dies in Johnston County crash

JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. -- A Tishomingo woman died in a crash in central Johnston County on Wednesday afternoon.

The Highway Patrol said all lanes of US 377 at State Highway 7 were closed for about two hours after the 12:30 p.m. accident.

Troopers said Kendra Parker, 33, was southbound on US 377 when her Nissan Altima crossed the center line and hit a northbound dump truck.

Parker was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.

The crash site is about 10 miles north of Tishomingo.
