Bokchito couple faces charges in shooting

BOKCHITO, Okla. -- The Bryan County Sheriff says a man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the head in Bokchito Sunday.

Two suspects are in custody. Alleged gunman Henry Thomas, 72, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

His 56-year-old roommate, Penny Proctor, faces a charge of aggravated assault on a police officer.

The victim was identified as Buel Collins. He was said to be in stable condition at an area hospital.
