PAULS VALLEY, Okla. -- Police are investigating after a burglar grabbed an estimated $30,000 worth of merchandise from a Pauls Valley marijuana dispensary.

The suspect, wearing a plastic bag on his head, broke into Bud Brothers Coughy Shop early Sunday morning and took everything in sight -- from samples of strains to different types of rolls.

"We have like some serious medical patients that depend on us carrying that stuff... they wiped out that," said Bud Brothers partner Bill Glenn.

The cannabis dispensary at 122 West Joy Avenue is closed while it restocks. Loyal customers helped with the cleanup.

"A group of them came in, they brought box fans and mops and cleaning supplies, and actually helped clean, which made us feel really good, you know," Glenn said.

Police are looking for the culprit.

"I'm pretty confident at this point that with the information that's coming in and the ability of my detectives to get this crime solved," police Chief Mitch McGill said.

Budd Brothers plans to reopen this weekend.
