DENISON, Texas -- Sarah Pierce of Goodwill Industries and Diana Larkins from Prop-Strike Cafe visited the KTEN studios on Thursday to discuss upcoming events with Midday anchor Carley Banks.

Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas and other regional non-profit agencies are looking forward to North Texas Giving Day on September 19, an easy way to make a charitable donation that can make a difference in your community.

Mark your calendars for Goodwill's annual Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday, December 7 for the opportunity to find unique gifts... and those popular ugly holiday sweaters!

And Goodwill's third annual Mission Possible car show is set for Saturday, May 9, at North Texas Regional Airport.  Goodwill is in discussions with Prop-Strike Cafe at the airport to cater the event, which includes entertainment and food.

Executive chef Diana Larkins talked about the made-from-scratch menu at the cafe, which is open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday-Saturday.
