MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. -- A four-vehicle accident shut down traffic across the Roosevelt Bridge at Lake Texoma for about an hour on Wednesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line shortly after 10 a.m., forcing the three other drivers to take evasive action.

All four vehicles were damaged.

US 70 was shut down in both directions for almost an hour, and westbound traffic on the two-lane bridge continued to be blocked until the wreck was cleared at 11:20 a.m.

The Roosevelt Bridge was closed to all traffic for days following a fiery crash that left two drivers dead on the Bryan County side of the span in June 2018. A commercial truck hauling 27,000 pounds of paint plunged into Lake Texoma after the collision.
