SHERMAN, Texas -- Christopher Harrell was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday morning for the murder of a Sherman man.

Grayson County District Attorney Brett Smith said the sentence came one day after Harrell was found guilty in the shooting death of 54-year-old Michael Lindsey at a residence in Denison in October 2017.

Harrell, now 56, was arrested at a hotel in Mount Pleasant, Texas, with Lindsey's truck and identification.
