DURANT, Okla. -- A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial has come to Texoma.

The exhibit, called The Wall That Heals, arrived at the Classic of Texoma auto dealership in Denison on Tuesday afternoon.

From there, Patriot Guard Riders and other officials escorted the truck carrying the wall from Denison to Durant, proceeding down Main Street to its destination at the Durant Multi-Sports Complex.

After being set up, a ceremony will open the exhibit to the public Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. The moving tribute -- featuring the names of all military personnel who died in the Vietnam War -- will remain open 24 hours a day until Sunday afternoon. Admission is free.
