MADILL, Okla. -- A squad car was almost rammed by a suspect in a high-speed chase in Madill Tuesday night.

The suspect, 55-year-old Andra McQueen, crashed and rolled his vehicle on US 70 near the intersection with Whiskey Creek Road between Madill and Kingston.

Police said it started with a domestic call in the 900 block of Little Avenue just before 10 p.m. They said McQueen initially drove head-on toward an officer's car without his headlights, then fled.

A pursuing officer said speeds topped 100 mph before the suspect lost control of his car, which ended up in a pasture.

Investigators said a loaded weapon and an open container were found in or near McQueen's car. After being evaluated for injuries, McQueen was booked into the Marshall County jail facing multiple charges, including burglary, driving under the influence, felon in possession of a firearm, and domestic assault and battery,

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 16.
