SHERMAN, Texas -- Sherman-area residents are getting some new dining options.

Pho Kitchen had its grand opening on Friday. It serves traditional, authentic Vietnamese food at 2916 US 75, Suite 120.

Another new eatery, Hau'oli Poke will be opening on Sunday. They will serve Hawaiian poke bowls or burritos at 3903 US 75, Suite 350.

Both restaurants selected Sherman for the same reason.

"There's nothing like this here, and this is a growing area," said Hau'oli Poke manager Tresca Votaw. "A very, very quickly-growing area, so we're just trying to bring a little outside influence."

To sample either type of cuisine, you'd typically have to drive to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
