SHERMAN, Texas -- You don't have to be a federal employee to be impacted by the partial government shutdown.

903 Brewers in Sherman is unable to ship out new beers because they can't get new labels approved. The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, which approves new beer labels, is currently closed over the federal funding impasse.

"We're still open. We're still able to brew beer. We're still able to sell beer here out of our taproom," said 903 Brewers founder Jeremy Roberts. "But our biggest frustration is the people who are making the decisions in Washington are still getting paid."

He adds the shutdown has also put the USDA loan his new facility has been approved for on hold, and is holding up the required license.
