CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Three people have been arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking in Carter County.

David Stanford Jr. of Oklahoma City, Hallie Cole of Purcell and Joseph Villemarette of Moore were nabbed with about a pound of methamphetamine and almost $1,600 in cash, deputies said.

"You know, methamphetamine is a very addictive drug, and getting this off the street is a huge success for all parties involved," Sheriff Chris Bryant said.

Stanford's bond was set at $250,000; Cole's is $100,000 and Villamarette's is $125,000.
