DENISON, Texas -- A trampoline park is coming to Denison's burgeoning Gateway Village development.

The Urban Air Adventure Park franchise will be owned by the Litteken family of Ardmore, where a location has already been established. Dallas-Based Urban Air has facilities across the U.S. and in the United Kingdom.

The 30,000 square foot indoor park in Denison will have a wide range of family entertainment options, which typically include trampolines, dodgeball courts, obstacle courses, and a multi-level tube playground.

"No two parks are exactly the same," explained  Urban Air representative Annie Harlow. "When you come to visit ardmore, you're not going to walk in to Denison and see the exact same thing. It's going to be unique to what this community wants."

About 90 new jobs will be created when the Denison location opens next fall.

It's the second big entertainment destination coming to Gateway Village. HeyDay Entertainment -- which includes a bowling alley, arcade games and dining options -- is already under construction and scheduled to open in the first half of 2019.

“We are a thrilled to be going in next to Denison’s new regional sports complex at Texoma Health Foundation Park and HeyDay Entertainment and all of the new facilities and businesses coming to Gateway Village," Dr. Gene Litteken said in a written statement. "This location will be the ultimate family destination for the entire Texoma region."

Gateway Village is located at the intersection of U.S. 75 and FM 691, across the highway from the Texoma Medical Center. Denison's first Starbucks Coffee shop recently opened there, and the mixed-use development will also feature residential sections and additional retail offerings.
