CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Deputies said Ishmael Raymond Brown, Mikhael Ryan McDonald, Nikolus Lee Fielding, and Dakota Blayne Boggs are in jail after reportedly being involved with auto-burglary in Carter County.

Sheriff Chris Bryant said these young men committed 15 burglaries in three weeks time and they didn't have much trouble doing it.

"Actually, they were, the vehicles that were broken into were unlocked," Bryant said.

Bryant said these men were working together during the robberies and they were after some high-priced items.

"Laptops, digital equipment, guns were stolen out of the vehicles," he said.

The sheriff's office is no stranger to crimes like this. Bryant said people sometimes to the wrong things to get by.

"It's usually they try to, you know people try to make ends meet other ways," he said.

As for how the department was able to catch these four guys, it's apparent the community stepped up to the plate in a big way.

"The citizens in this county have really banded together, videotapes, surveillance tapes and everything, people calling in,” Bryant said. "We do recommend, once again, to please lock your vehicles and your homes."

Bryant wants to urge residents to double check everything before they leave valuables unguarded. Deputies believe as many as seven people could've been involved with these burglaries.
