DENISON, Texas -- A Grayson County grand jury has indicted a man in connection with Halloween night homicide at a Denison plumbing firm last year.

A $1 million bond was set for Tyrone Dewayne Sommers, 48, of Sherman. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison.

The grand jury issued its first degree murder indictment on Monday; Sommers arrested at 7:30 Wednesday morning.

"I think it's poetic justice that Mr. Tyrone Sommers is in jail for murder on the one-year anniversary of this homicide," said Grayson County District Attorney Brett Smith.

Robert Allen was found dead at his family business, Allen Plumbing, on October 31, 2017.  He had been shot.

Denison police offered thanks to the Texas Rangers for their help in the investigation.
