Shooting in Pontotoc County leaves one person dead

BYNG, Okla. --  There was a manhunt in Pontotoc County Friday night for the suspect in a fatal shooting.

The victim was killed in Byng near the corner of High School Street and Main Street.

The sheriff's office named the suspect as Zachary Perkins, 20, who was later taken into custody in Oklahoma City.
