CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. -- An Amber Alert has been canceled after a drug-endangered infant was returned to his biological father.

Authorities in Choctaw County said the mother of eight-month Cohen Wilson fled Oklahoma with the baby after failing a drug test that gave the father custody of the child.

Sheriff's Office Investigator Jeff Epley said the mother, Candi Jo Rayburn, dropped the child off with another family member in Ada. That person returned Cohen to his father in Choctaw County.

The infant was in a safe environment and was getting a medical checkup.

Epley said Rayburn remains at large and the district attorney's office will determine if a warrant will be issued for her arrest.
