Dickson police chief appeals for applicants

DICKSON, Okla. -- The Dickson Police department is shorthanded.

Police Chief David Boes said they are seeking to hire three reserve officers. 

The Dickson force currently has four part-time officers on staff, Boes said they are seeking additional applicants.

Applicants must be 21 years or older, have a high school diploma, and be available to work at least 16 hours a month. The department is looking for people who are especially community-oriented.

If you're interested in joining the department, applications are available at Dickson Town Hall, 35 Eastgate Loop.
