POTTSBORO, Texas -- Fire destroyed a Pottsboro man's hobby shop on Tuesday morning.

The building at an Elsey Drive address was used to rebuild classic Volkswagen Beetles. Investigators believe a paint explosion may have triggered the blaze.

"It appears at this point in the investigation that the fire started in what's called a 'hot box,' or in other words, a place to store paint," said Grayson County Fire Marshal Andy Brazie. "It overheated, and from what the property owner says, it exploded and blew the door off."

Brazie said no one was hurt.
