SHERMAN, Texas -- A Southmayd couple was indicted on arson charges Wednesday.

You may remember the bizarre story in May: Michael and Shannon Ouellette and their teenage daughter were spotted walking naked along State Highway 56, a short distance from their burning mobile home on Christi Lane.

The couple allegedly assaulted police trying to arrest them.

The adults were both indicted for arson, child endangerment, marijuana possession, and assaulting a peace officer.

The Grayson County Fire Marshal's office said the Ouellettes set their own home ablaze using gasoline.

District Attorney Bret Smith said some of the charges they face are second and third degree felonies. The next step is to have an arraignment and then a conference where they will decide to either go to trial or negotiate a plea with prosecutors.
