CALERA, Okla. -- Seven people were injured in a major accident in Bryan County on Thursday afternoon.

Calera police said an 18-wheeler crashed into four other vehicles -- including a sedan, an SUV and a pickup truck -- at an intersection on U.S. 69/75 around 3 p.m.

Two of the injured were airlifted to an area hospital for treatment. 

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
