DENISON, Texas -- Denison police seized drugs, cash, and made an arrest during a raid in Pottsboro on Thursday.

After executing a raid in the 100 block of Fry's Lane, investigators said they found six pounds of marijuana, 29 grams of THC wax and $48,000 in cash. They also seized lawn equipment, tools, and a vehicle.

Joel Trent O'Bannon was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana over 5 pounds, both felony charges.

"This is more than just your person out with personal use... this is more of a dealer-type thing," Denison police spokesman Lt. Mike Eppler said.

Police said the investigation started in Denison, but that O'Bannon moved all around the county, ending up in Pottsboro.

O'Bannon was released on $25,000 bond.
