School projects benefit from Denison Clay Shoot

DENISON, Texas -- The Denison Area Chamber of Commerce held its 11th annual Clay Shoot on Friday afternoon.

The event is the only fundraiser of the year for the Chamber.

Twenty-five teams participated, with funds earmarked for various Denison Independent School District projects, including a luncheon for new teachers and  kits for kids.

Last year's Clay Shoot raised $30,000. The Chamber expected to raise at least that much this year.
