CLINTON, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a Custer County teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with one of her 15-year-old students has been charged with rape.

Investigators say 35-year-old Clinton Public Schools teacher Keri Hoffman was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree rape and other offenses. Court records don't indicate whether she has an attorney.

Authorities say Hoffman used Facebook messenger to communicate with the boy and set up locations for sexual contact. Investigators say Hoffman acknowledged having sex with the boy numerous times since March 30.

The agency says Hoffman also told investigators she had sex with the boy after taking him and other students to the state Capitol last week to participate in demonstrations in which thousands have protested seeking more state money for education.
