ARDMORE, OK – Every game is a huge deal in Ardmore, Oklahoma, but every Ardmore Tiger knows that when they take on Altus Friday night Noble Stadium will be the place to be.
“We love playing at home, especially in a big environment like this and I think our fans will come out and get crazy and loud and it will be a good environment,” said Ardmore head coach Josh Newby.
“It is going to be electric. I mean we have the best fans they are always loud and our student section is crazy so I really can’t want,” said Ardmore senior running back Chantz Scurry
“All of our fans love attending the game that is what they look forward to every week. We hope on Friday that it till be packed and we will just deliver the football down their throat,” said Ardmore senior running back Braden Vance.
This physical, bruising, no nonsense style of football on both sides is what the Ardmore Tigers have become known for…and they do not plan on changing their identity any time soon.
“We always like to try and send a message with the downhill football and always try to hit them in the mouth,” said Vance.
“I really love our offense, it is just really tough and that is what I love about it. All of our guys are scrappy and just like to hit people hard,” said Scurry.
“We do take pride in it and we will always do it. Most teams run the option or spread, but we are more of a downhill football team and hit you in the mouth,” said Vance.
