Large brawl breaks out in South Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

A large fight between family members broke out near Hydraulic and I-135 in South Wichita around 6:45 p.m.

Wichita Police say a family fight over child care on Friday boiled over to Saturday evening when between 60 and 80 people got into a large disturbance.

An officer on the scene says that during the fight, windows were broken out of a home and a woman sustained minor injuries. Reports of a bicycle being thrown into a SUV and a gun being fired are being investigated.

Officers are asking people with information to contact them.
