DENISON, TX -- Thursday Denison had their annual Christmas parade. 

KTEN News Chief Meteorologist Alan Mitchell was there when the Mayor lit the Christmas tree. 

Attendees watched as dozens of floats went down the road to share some Christmas cheer including one of KTEN’s vehicles filled with some familiar faces.

This year, the theme of the parade was a frosted fairytale.

The floats and entry were based on music, spirit and attractiveness.

The winners of the parade took home a monetary gift and are listed below.

  • Grand Prize – Best of Parade ($200) Dance Xplosion
  • First Place ($125) B & B Automotive & Wrecker
  • Best Business Entry ($100) DAWG Denison Animal Welfare Group
  • Second Place ($100) Hispanic Heritage Council
  • Third Place ($75) Momentum Youth from Faith Church
  • Honorable Mention ($75) Texas Attitude Fast Pitch Softball Club
