Woman sentenced to prison for the murder of a Denison man

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A Grayson County woman faced a judge Monday afternoon after pleading guilty to murder.

The 42-year-old learned her fate for her part in the death of Albert Parker. The Grayson County District Attorney's Office says Lisa Gibby will spend the next 70 years in a Texas prison for the crime.

Dalton Clayton, 22, was sentenced to four life terms for his role in Parker’s death earlier this year.

Parker, of Denison, was killed back in 2014.

Prosecutors say Clayton admitted in court he stabbed Parker to death after meeting him in a field.

Earlier reports say Clayton killed Parker to gain the trust of the Aryan nation, a well known hate group.

Gibby testified against Clayton in his trial.
