New RV Park Resort Ribbon Cutting

ARDMORE, OKLAHOMA-- A ribbon cutting was held Thursday morning at a new Texoma RV park resort. 

"By The Lake" RV Park opened it's doors about to weeks ago in Ardmore.

The resort just off of I35, towards Lake Murray is already rated number two out of the whole state.

Chamber of Commerce members and others in the community came out for a ribbon cutting.

The park has 138 sites, and some are month to month.

Other features include a dog park, pool, nature trails and a fishing pond.

"We're really pleased its turned out so well, we wanted something special and I think we have something special, " Owner JD Dunn said. 

"It's really exciting for Ardmore, it brings in a lot of tourism for Ardmore which means money for Ardmore which is good for business, it benefits everybody," Chamber of Commerce Member Janee Auten said. 

The park is about 2 miles west from the lake and right down from the golf course.
