Grayson County Shelter Needs

Posted:

DENISON, TX-- We told you last week about a local shelter in need of paper products and food. This weekend kind donations are helping them stay afloat.

Earlier this closet only had one bundle of toilet paper left at the Grayson County Shelter in Denison. Now all the shelves are fully stocked thanks to kind donations from local businesses and others living in Texoma.

Mikayla Stocks with the shelter said they've also received several canned goods, but they're still in need.

"Milk, eggs, meat, we could always use bottled water in this heat especially with some of our non-residents coming and walking to our shelter to receive food baskets," Mikayla Stocks said.

Donations can be accepted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.
