10 Year Old's Room Transformed by Famous Artist

ARDMORE, OK-- "Go to your room!"

Most kids usually cringe at the phrase, but that's all changed for a Plainview Elementary student.

"There's really not an explanation of how much I love it," ten year old Taylor Landis said.

Wall murals are the new fad for kids rooms, hospitals and more, but one Ardmore family is taking it to the heights.

Renowned artist Jason Hulfish from Tampa, Florida has spent the past few weeks transforming 10 year old Taylor Landis's room into a Paris getaway.

"It just feels like I'm in Paris and since I've always wanted to go, I just love it," Taylor said.

Hulfish's work has been featured on shows like Bar Rescue, Tree House Masters, and Extreme Home Makeover.

He started out just designing T-shirts, and now he has mural masterpieces all over the world.

"Reactions are always different. It's always great you know, we try to inspire kids, their imagination and a lot of the design is their ideas. I'm just creating it for them," Hulfish said.

What were mom and dad thinking?

"It's something where Taylor could express herself and get her own ideas demonstrated in her room so, in addition it was nice to be able to help out an incredible artist who is also a friend that I've known since middle school," Derek Landis said.

And getting out of bed might be a little harder for Taylor this school year, her older brother also has a room transformation on the way.

Hulfish travels internationally for his artwork, for more information you can visit:
