OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma County district judge has been indicted on four counts of failing to file state income tax returns. Court records indicate the misdemeanor charges were filed Tuesday against 43-year-old Kendra Coleman of Oklahoma City. Oklahoma's multi-county grand jury accused Coleman of not filing income tax returns between 2015 and 2018. Each count is punishable by up to one year in the county jail and a $5,000 fine.

YUKON, Okla. (AP) - Two students have been arrested for what police say were hoax threats on social media involving "gun violence" to a suburban Oklahoma City school district. Yukon Public Schools Superintendent Jason Simeroth and Police Chief John Corn said at a news conference Tuesday that two Yukon students were arrested earlier in the day for making a terroristic hoax threat that was discovered Monday. Corn said the two did not have ready access to any weapons.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has appointed Osage County District Judge John Kane to a vacant seat on the state Supreme Court. Stitt announced the appointment on Tuesday, choosing from among three applicants submitted by the Judicial Nominating Commission. Ken will serve in the seat vacated by the retirement of former Justice John Reif, who was appointed to the state's highest court by former Gov. Brad Henry in 2007.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has proposed a $160 million plan to shore up levees around Tulsa that have been weakened by periodic flooding. The Corps released a feasibility study Monday that recommends altering existing levees and rebuilding pump stations to protect lives and property served by the 75-year-old Tulsa-West Tulsa Levee System. Hundreds of homes and business were induring historic flooding along the Arkansas River that extended downstream into the state of Arkansas.
