Quran- removing misconceptions event

SHERMAN, TX-- Members of a Dallas Muslim Community spent some time in Texoma today to remove any misconceptions people may have of Muslims.

The members with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said they're trying to show others that despite the violence associated with those that call themselves "Muslims" and recent attacks around the world-- it's not what their religion Islam teaches.

They said they don't believe in bombing or killing others, but instead they said they're taught to love others.

"So we kind of embrace everybody, not kill people and not discriminate against anybody. Islam teaches a message of embracing people and the true meaning of Islam is submission," President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Suhail Kausar said.

They said recent violence in the world upsets them, and said that they're motto is "love for all and hatred for none”.
