LONE GROVE, OK - Longhorn's senior, running back, Jeremy Lewis signed his official letter of intent to play football at Trinity Valley Community College. Lewis decommitted from Arkansas State in December, via an announcement on twitter. After re-opening his recruitment, it was no surprise to Lewis and his coaches that he was heavily pursued by several programs. Ultimately, the Ok-Preps leading rusher decided to TVCC Cardinals would be the best fit to cultivate his talents and football knowledge.
The Trinity Valley Community College football program speaks for itself. Every season, they prepare their player to advance to Division one programs, while year in and year out competing for the Ju-Co National Championship. TVCC also, has roots in the NFL such as Ahtyba Rubin and Hall of famer, John Randle.
Lewis was a key component in helping Lone Grove advance into the third round of the football play-offs this season. He recorded 3,066 yards on the ground and 51 touchdowns for the Longhorns in 2015.
