SHERMAN, TX -- The SHS varsity football team would begin spring ball Monday.
They'll practice three days this week then Monday through Thursday up until their May 21 spring game.
The 'Cats are looking to bounce-back from a less than stellar 2014 and it seems they have the tools to do just that.
Head coach Bill Patterson says he likes the product he sees on the field so far.
"There's no question for us after our teams gone 1-9 and we were not very good on either side of the ball and it's important for us - this is the start of the 2015 season, our the continuation of our start. You know, off-season was the first phase, spring practice will be the second phase, summer workout three and fall camp four. So this is very important for us," he said.
