HEALDTON, OK -- The Healdton Bulldogs rushing attack is second to none, literally.
Chaz Carr leads the state in yardage on the ground with the closest player a distant 142 yards behind.
They're also riding high on a five game winning streak and look a lot like their 2004 club from a decade ago that went all the way to the state semifinals.
In two weeks they'll be in for a week ten showdown against state power Ringling that could be for all the district marbles.
"That's been our goal all summer is to reach that district championship game and this year it looks like it will be against Ringling, but we're not looking at it like that. We're taking it one week at a time, we try to go 1-0 each week and right now we're just concentrating on the Walters Blue Devils, next week we'll concentrate on Wilson then we'll get to Ringling and we'll worry about Ringling," head coach Mark Barrett said.
