Denison hoping to take care of business in final 10-5A games
DENISON, TX -- District 10-5A is a mess and there's no clarity yet which four teams will clinch playoff spots.
The Yellow Jackets are down, but not out. They basically have to win their three remaining games to make it.
McKinney North is 3-1 in league play, while Denison is 1-3. The Bulldogs also boast one of the state's top prospects, Oklahoma State commitment Ronald Jones.
In order to pick up the road win, they'll have to find a way to slow the running back down.
"Our goal last year was not to give them that seam and we only gave it to him six times and I think he scored six touchdowns. He's that talented and he has that kind of speed. If he breaks, we can't catch him, so we've obviously got to do our job, we've got to trust our teammate is going to do his job and make sure that if we're doing our job, and he's doing his job, then we're all going to be ok but if we all try to do each other's job, we're going to give him a seam and it's six points," head coach Chad Rogers said.
