SAVANNA, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma district attorney says his office made a mistake when it charged a former assistant police chief in Savanna with three felonies.
Twenty-seven-year-old Bo Michael Munholland was charged with three felony counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor last month. They have been reduced to misdemeanor charges.
District attorney Farley Ward tells the McAlester News-Capital (http://bit.ly/1oE82aP ) that someone in his office made a mistake by clicking the wrong button on the computer.
Munholland resigned in August after being accused of providing beer to two 20-year-olds and an 18-year-old in McAlester.
A message left with Munholland's attorney wasn't immediately returned Wednesday.
