DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern baseball coach Mike Metheny has announced the signing of 13 new additions to the 2015 roster, bringing the total number of new additions for the upcoming season to 15.


The new signees, all incoming juniors, join all-region outfielder Brandon Grimsley from Murray State and NJCAA Academic All-American catcher Nolan Fanning from Northern Oklahoma-Enid.


Eight of the new additions are native to Oklahoma, while five make the trip up from Texas.

Counce
, a 6-2, 220 first baseman spent his first two seasons at Murray State where he was an All-American last season after leading the NJCAA D-II in home runs, earning a national Player of the Week honor and posting a .388 average. He blasted 17 home runs in 2014 with 52 RBI and 50 runs scored while adding in 15 stolen bases.


While in high school at Denison HS he was a four-year letterwinner twice earning all-area honors. He was named the district MVP in 2012 and played in the TBCA All-Star Game.


Thomas
, a 5-10, 170 middle infielder transfers from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where posted a .398 on-base percentage and showed his prowess in the field with a .951 fielding percentage and 117 assists.


He was also an all-district selection while at Denison HS.


Allen
, a 5-7, 155 outfielder/second baseman from Mineral Wells, Texas who transitions to Southeastern from Seward County CC in Kansas where he was a two-time all-conference honoree as well as being a two-time Golden Glove award winner and earning Freshman of the Year honors before posting a .391 average as a sophomore while driving in 44 runs and scoring 57 runs in that season.


He was a four-time all-district selection while at Mineral Well HS, earning four gold glove honors and being selected as a first team all-state honoree as a senior.


Taylor
, a 6-0, 190 utility player who can play first base, outfield or pitch, hails from Paris, Texas and transfers in from Paris JC. As a pitcher there he posted a 3.21 ERA with 23 strikeouts, while offensively adding a .308 average.


In high school at Paris HS he an all-state selection after earning district MVP honors as well as being named all-state for his work as a quarterback for the football team.


Terwilliger
, a 6-1, 195 third baseman/pitcher hails from Rockwall, Texas and makes the move to SE from Paris JC where he earned all-conference honors after hitting .340 with nine doubles and 24 RBI in 2014.


While at Rockwall HS he earned the school's High Jacket Pride Award.


Clemons
, a 6-0, 190 left-handed pitcher from Broken Bow, Okla., transfers from Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa. There he tossed 16 games with eight complete games as a sophomore, posting 41 strikeouts and carrying a 4.00 ERA.


At Leedy HS he helped guide his team to a state runner-up finish, earning WOBCA Small School Pitcher of the Year and all-state honors.


Colbert
, a 5-10, 190 right-handed pitcher from McAlester, Okla., makes the move from Eastern Oklahoma State where he made 17 appearances on the hill in relief with 34 strikeouts.


While at Eufala HS he played for former Southeastern player Preston James, earning all-conference honors three times, including conference MVP honors as a senior, while earning the Muskogee Phoenix's Newcomer of the Year honor in 201 and MVP in 2011.


Crenshaw
, a 5-10, 160 middle infielder from Red Oak, Okla., transfers from Carl Albert State where he played for former SE player Mark Pollard. As a sophomore he posted 11 doubles and drove in 24 runs on 34 hits.


While at Red Oak HS he helped his team to four state championships and was named an SEOBCA All-Star.


Helms
, a 6-0, 200 outfielder/second baseman from Eufala, Okla., comes to Southeastern from Seminole State. As a sophomore there he collected 45 hits, including four triples and added 10 stolen bases.


He also played for former SE player Preston James in high school at Eufala, earning all-state honors as well as being named the Big 8 Conference Offensive Player of the Year and an SEOBCA All-Star.


Jameson
, a left-handed pitcher from McAlester, Okla., makes the move to SE from Carl Albert State, posting a 3.52 ERA and 17 K's over 10 appearances in his last season there while playing for former SE player Mark Pollard.


He played his high school ball for Crowder HS.


Koepp
, a 6-0, 220 catcher/first baseman hails from Norman, Okla., and comes to SE after two seasons at Dodge City CC in Kansas. At DCCC he was a KJCCC all-conference pick, hitting over .300 in both seasons, highlighted by a sophomore season where he hit .337 with 23 doubles and 56 RBI.


He played his high school baseball at Norman HS where he set the school record for batting average by hitting .506.


Linke
, a 6-5, 215 right-handed pitcher from Duncan, Okla., transitions from Eastern Oklahoma State where he led the team in appearances over two seasons. As a sophomore he posted 19 appearances with 30 strikeouts over 42 innings pitched.


He played his high school ball for Duncan HS.


Sanders,
a 6-3, 205 left-handed pitcher from Hartshorne, Okla., transfers from Eastern Oklahoma State where as a sophomore he posted 24 strikeouts in 26 innings pitched over 14 appearances.


While playing for Hartshorne HS he also earned all-state honors.
