William Brinn shows that our choices determine the course of relationships in new novella.

Denver (PRWEB) July 15, 2014

According to a survey done by YourTango.com, out of 100 mental health professionals polled, 65 percent said that communication problems are the most common factors that lead to divorce - followed by couples inability to resolve conflict.

William Brinn has had some interesting experiences in his life. Many deep and long lasting friendships have been the driving engine that motivated him to write No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. He agrees that communication is important and says that sometimes it takes courage to say what is on ones mind.

There are some situations where doing nothing is not an option, Brinn said. If you feel strongly about something, you have to act.

Although Brinns inspiration for his book is no laughing matter, the novella itself is not stoic but rather uplifting. Brinn has delivered a Dramedy that ties faux pas, jealousy and forgiveness into a story involving difficult situations between substantive yet simple characters that anyone can relate to.

The book is centered on Mike Grissom, a quirky and humorous graphic designer who lacks luck with the ladies. Try as his friends might, no one they set him up with seems to stick around.

Everything changes when he decides to help a stranger in need. That stranger turns out to be a famous actress, Veronica Lange. After some awkward misunderstandings and humorous social gaffes, Mike and Veronica are put in the position where they must choose between forgiveness and their own pride.

I wanted to show that a good deed doesnt have to be a grand gesture, Brinn said. It can be just a small reaction to a situation and its never too late for someone to offer an apology.
