Master Gardners improve curb appeal for two Denison homes

DENISON -- The curb appeal for a couple homes in Denison just got a little better.

Monday, the Grayson County Agriculture Extension Office put in some landscaping at two Habitat for Humanity homes.

The homes were built this spring and today, the county's master gardeners went to work sprucing up the outside.

"We do the basic at every house cause the stuff that we planted, the liriope and the dwarf yaupon holly are really, really like bullet proof as far as plants are concerned and we also plant a crape myrtle at every house too," Master Gardner Richard Green said.

The homes that were landscaped are on Elm and Florence Streets in Denison.
