MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- Troopers say a jet-skier found floating in Lake Texoma is alive today thanks to a passing boater.

Carl Thompson, 45, of Garland, Tex., fell off his water craft when he hit a wave in Catfish Bay around 2 p.m. on Saturday, according to OHP.

His life jacket came unbuckled and was hanging on his arm, the trooper report said.

Someone saw the whole thing happen and performed CPR on the unconscious man.

Troopers say Thompson had been drinking and he was taken to MCSO in stable condition.
