GAINESVILLE, TX -- A community college in Texoma is one step closer to getting a new leader after regents enter their pick for president.

North Central Texas College regents voted 6-0 on Thursday to name Dr. Brent Wallace as their finalist for president, according to the college.

Wallace has been working there for 3 years as the vice president of instruction.

Current president Dr. Eddie hadlock is retiring at the end of August after 40 years there, including 10 as president.
