AC has 45 student athletes on SCAC academic honor roll
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference has released its spring Academic Honor Roll, with 45 members of Austin College winter and spring sports teams earning recognition. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point-average of 3.25 for the spring semester.
Among those earning this honor for Austin College were baseball players CJ Adame, Josh Coughennower, Dylan Day, Alan Parrent, and Patrick Renz, as well as softball players Lillana Chavez, Briana Hernadez, Emily Low, Lindsey Pollard, Lace Price, Rachel Ramos, Mallory Rossmann, and Taylor Steelman.
Also earning recognition were tennis player Ben Boerner, Zach Bomar, Jack Kunde, David Smith, James Taylor, Carlye Lide, Sophie McDonald, and Kate Willis, along with swimmers Erik Gentzel, Bentley Gilbert, and Anne Booker.
Men’s basketball players Austin Freet, Kevin Graham, Victor Gutierrez de Pineres, Harry Hampden-Smith, Cody Meyers, Alvin Michael, Andres Rivera, and Aashir Sohail were also recognized, as were women’s basketball players Madison Aliff, Olivia Bailey, Lexi Beeson, Olivia Cicci, Brianna Harvey, Kendall Heitmeier, Christina Kime, Kayla Linthicum, Jenna Longo, Brooke Melton, Erin Riley, and Brittany Stepanski.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
