Denison Man To Stand Trial In Hogtying Murder Of Autistic Teenager

SHERMAN, TX -- The murder trial of a man accused of hogtying an autistic teenager is set to start on Monday.

Robert Gray Jr., 52, of Denison, is facing charges of murder and several lesser included offenses like manslaughter and unlawful restraint.

At an April hearing, Judge James Fry granted a request to call a pool of 100 jurors instead of the usual 62 because of the emotional nature of the case.

Prosecutors say Gray tied up, gagged, hogtied, and hit a 15-year-old and impeded his breathing, killing him. White's 13-year-old brother was also at the home that night and will reportedly testify.
