DENISON, TX -- The city of Denison is offering a unique way to become part of the town's history while helping build it's future.

From now until July 4th the city is accepting orders for brick engravings at the Eisenhower Monument at the corner of Highway 75 and Loy Lake Road.

All the bricks on the ground surrounding the statue are engraved with the names of veterans and community members who helped with the project.

Every year they add more bricks.  If you would like a name engraved on one of them you can call the city at 903-464-4452, or got to www.denisontexas.com.

Engravings for veterans are 70 dollars. For non veterans it's 100 dollars a piece.  All the money goes to helping out denison's downtown.  Again that deadline is July 4th.
