CARTWRIGHT, OK -- Authorities are looking into a possible drowning involving a teenager at Lake Texoma. It happened around 7 o'clock  on the lake Sunday night, in the area of Willafa Woods road near Cartwright in Bryan County. Army Core Assistant Lake Manager BJ Parkey says they are looking for a 17-year-old boy.

An eagle medical helicopter and a helicopter with Bryan County were reportedly helping with the search for a while. Several agencies were on the scene including Army Corps, Bryan County Deputies, Cartwright Fire and Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Nathan Colloway, the Chief Investigator with the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation has been handed over to OHP.

OHP says crews will be back on the scene searching Monday morning. The search tonight ended after dark.
