SHERMAN, TX -- A former carpet installer is spending the weekend in jail as part of his sentence after police say he confessed to stealing from a home he was working in.

Bobby Large, 56, of Bokchito, was sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to spend 4 weekends in the Grayson County Jail, court records state.

According to court documents, the victim discovered her diamond wedding ring was missing from an armoire at a home in Sherman.  An employee at Goldstar Carpet One later called police to say Large confessed and returned the ring, police said.
