    Madill plant employee charged with embezzlement

    MADILL -- An employee for a steel plant in Madill is now charged with embezzling from the company. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says Lori Allen, 44, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. She accused of embezzling about $40,000 from Oklahoma Steel and Wire. Allen has since been released from jail. Her next court date has not been set. GRAYSON COUNTY -- A man convicted of killing a Grayson County deputy has been denied a second chance at a trial.

Rickey Stanley filed a notice of appeal and a motion for a new trial back in February.

The District Attorney's Office today said that motion has been denied.

Stanley was convicted February 7 of killing Grayson County deputy Chad Key when he hit him with his truck while driving drunk.

Stanley was sentenced to 99 years in prison for murder.
