GRAYSON -- After several property disputes over pipeline rights in the north Texas area, agricultural property owners will now have a resource to ask questions.

Grayson county will be hosting a negotiations meeting featuring Tiffany Dowell, an Agricultural Law specialist, Thursday, June 12th.

Grayson county's agricultural agent hopes the meeting will answer any questions concerning how to negotiate with oil and gas companies that want to build a pipeline through people's property.

"We thought it would really be good to bring someone in whose in the field, that can answer their individual questions that can point them in the right direction so that they have something to work with, something to understand to what their rights are as property owners," says Chuck Jones, the Grayson County Agricultural Extension Agent.

The meeting will be held this Thursday, June 12th, from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Grayson County Courthouse, second floor assembly room. It is open to the public and admission is $10.
